もうすいぶんと前からお世話になっているPalm Graphicsの豊田弘治さん初の描き下し絵本、もじのないえほん とよだこうじがブエノブックスさんから4/3に発売されました。とってもすてきですので、よかったら手にとってみてください。
Mr Kouji Toyoda of Palm Graphics, a man with whom we have been affiliated for some time now launched his first hand-drawn picture book, appropriately titled ‘Wordless Picture Book’, on the third of April through Bueno Books. This book is reaaaaally lovely, so if possible please pick up a copy and have a look for yourselves.
発売記念イベントとして4/4から4/30まで渋谷区千駄ヶ谷2-9-1 SLOPE GALLERYにて、もじのないえほん原画展が開催されています。4/30火曜日の18:00よりアーティストトークも開催されるとのことですのでお時間あるかたは是非。（ご予約はSLOPE GALLERYまで、だそうです）文字どうり、文字のない絵だけの絵本で、本当に豊田さんらしい平和で仲の良い暮らしが、ほのぼのと伝わってきます。本当に世界中が平和であったらいいと思います。それにしても原画は、いつもながら素晴らしいです。ほしいものだらけですー笑。@鈴木さとし
A launch event, running from the 4th to the 30th of April at the SLOPE GALLERY in Sendagaya, Shibuya will exhibit the original images from the book itself. From 18.00 on Tuesday 30th there will be an artists talk, so to those of you who have the time, please my all means take a look. Staying true to its title, this picture book conveys the beauty of a peaceful and intimate existence in a style typical of Mr Toyoda using only images. I think it would be a wonderful thing if we could attain world peace. At any rate, his work, as always is superb. It’s full of wonder. @ Satoshi Suzuki / WEG
