クラッシック切替ボーダー吊り天竺新柄

吊り天竺ボーダーの新しい柄の試編みです。技術的にかなり難しい柄を試作してみました。コースごとにカラーを変更したり、柄ピッチ幅を何種類も作ってボーダー吊り天竺を編み立ています。こういった、トライアルを幾度となく積み重ねて、このクラッシックな切替機を使いこなせるようになるまで技術の蓄積ですね。現在の編機であれば、コンピューターに数字を入力するだけで、いとも簡単にできてしまうような内容ですが、アナログでやれることがとても大切と思っています。この生地を使用してTシャツのサンプルを製作してみようと思っています。@鈴木さとし
This is a trial knit for a new pattern in a T shirt border fabric. For the prototype knit I tried out a very technically complex pattern. This T shirt border fabric is knitted with changing color intervals, as well as numerous variations in the border widths within the pattern.
This fabric is the product of countless trials, as well as the accumulation of the significant engineering skill which was required in order to become able to handle this antique piece of machinery (the Japanese word for this machine is KIRIKAEKI,which could roughly be translated as a ‘switching loom’).
It’s a shame that with modern knitting machines, it’s a simple matter of merely entering some digits into a computer. I however, feel that it’s extremely important and valuable to be able to achieve these things using analogue methods.I’m thinking of trying out a production sample of a t-shirt using this fabric.@Satoshi Suzuki
