以前にお話しました、試作のクラッシックボーダー吊り裏毛を使ってボートネックスウェットのサンプルを作ってみました。キナリxブルーのふわっと柔らかく軽い感じで編み立てた吊り裏毛のほうを選びました。出来上りは、LWライトとLWEXライトの中間くらいのウェイトと風合いでなんともいえない柔らかい雰囲気がすごく気持ちよい感じです。画像のキナリxロイヤルブルーとキナリxネイビーの2カラー展開を考えておりまして、ボーダーピッチは、もう少しキナリ部分の幅が狭い、おおよそ39ミリx13ミリくらいに調整できたらと思っています。予定としては2月中旬あたりにリリースできたらいいなと思っていますので、お楽しみにしていただけましたらと思います。
As discussed in one of my previous posts, I made a sample of a boat neck sweat using a trial knit classic border fleece. I decided to use a lightweight and soft-textured blue border on unbleached cotton fleece. The outcome is a fabric that in terms of weight is somewhere between our LW light and LW extra light fleece and a texture that is indescribably soft and extremely comfortable. I’m thinking of releasing this item in two color schemes; royal blue on unbleached cotton (as shown in the photo) and navy on unbleached cotton. I’m thinking of adjusting the border pitch ever so slightly so as to make the unbleached sections slightly narrower (approximately 39mm x 13mm). I’m hoping to be able to release this item around the middle of February, so everyone please get excited.
クラッシックボーダー吊り天竺とこのクラッシックボーダー吊り裏毛と昨年は存在しなかった吊り編物です。旧い機械ですが、新しい技術を投入しての旧くて新しい素材と思っています。旧い技術と新しい技術の融合は、これからの大きなテーマと思っていますので、いろいろな糸、またその組合せを挑戦していきたいと思っています。カネキチ工業のみなさんと一緒になって研究してゆけたらいいなと思っています。@鈴木さとし
The classic border t-shirt fabric and classic border fleece fabric are two knits that were not even in existence last year. The technology and machines that do the knitting are old, but the skilled hands of those that create the knits are that of new blood. As a result, I think that these fabrics are a meeting of old and new. I think that this unification of old technology with new skill will become a predominant theme for us and I would like to create many different yarns and push the boundaries in terms of combinations. I hope to be able to carry out this research with those at Kanekichi Industries. @Satoshi Suzuki / WEG
