LWマリン TOP杢糸

今年も6月に福岡ー大阪ー東京と受注会ラウンドを計画しています。今のところ福岡が6/3の週で、大阪を6/10の週、東京を6/17の週に開催できたらいいなと思っています。日程と開催日数など、決定次第ご連絡させていただきます。
昨年のチャコールTOP杢に続いて、今年はLWマリンTOP杢糸を別注で紡績しました。原綿（わた）の段階でLWマリンの色目で染色して糸を紡いでいます。いわゆるLWマリンメランジですね。他では、同じ色目は出せませんのでこの世の中でループウィラーだけのネイビー杢糸となります。画像では色目がわかりずらいですが、実際は深みがあって、なかなかステキなメランジ感がでているのではないかなと。中糸と裏糸もLWマリンに糸の段階で染色して、LWライト吊り裏毛のウェイトと度目で吊り編み機で編み立ててみました。
Once again, this June we are planning to take special orders in Fukuoka, Osaka and Tokyo. Currently, I am thinking that it would be good to start in Fukuoka the week commencing the 3rd of June, Osaka the week commencing the 10th and Tokyo the week commencing the 17th. As soon as the schedule etc is decided I will let everyone know the details.
Continuing on from last year’s Heather Charcoal TOP fabric, this we spun a special-order LW marine TOP heather yarn. This yarn was dyed a LW marine shade as raw cotton before being spun into actual yarn. This is what we call LW marine melange. Furthermore, this same shade will not be found anywhere else in the world, therefore it is a Loopwheeler exclusive navy heather yarn. It’s hard to tell from the photo, but in reality this fabric has a certain depth and I feel that it really is a rather lovely melange. The middle and bottom yarns were dyed LW marine after being spun into yarn, we then knitted the yarn using Loopwheel machines to the weight and thread count of LW light.
拡大してみました。表糸のLWマリンTOP杢糸に中糸と裏糸のLWマリンの糸が混ざり合って、かなり深みのあるネイビー杢の色あいになっています。これからサンプルを製作してみようと思っていますので、製品にしたらどんな雰囲気になるのか、私的にもたいへん楽しみな素材となりました。上手くいったら、これをメインの素材にしようと思っています。今年は昨年よりも素材のバリエーションを多くしようと思っておりますので、かなり悩んでいただけるのではないでしょうか。他の試編みも上がってきましたので、またお知らせしますね。そちらもなかなか良いです。@鈴木さとし
Here it is magnified. Blending together the LW marine heather top yarn and the LW marine middle yarn brings out a navy melange tone with great depth. I’m thinking about trying this out in a sample soon and I too am really excited to see how it will look as an actual item. If it comes out well, I’m thinking of using this as a main fabric. I’m thinking of creating a larger number of fabric variations on last year, so I hope that you’ll all be spoilt for choice. Some more trial knits were also completed recently, so I’ll keep you updated. They’re pretty good too. @Satoshi Suzuki / WEG
