兄弟

バタバタな年末ですが、少しだけゆっくりする時間が持てました。今や日本の宝じゃないかと思う我らが、Wonderwall 片山正通さんといつのまにか大きくなったKitsuneのマサヤと忘年会でした。みんなかなり多忙なんだけど、運良く時間があって、久しぶりにゆっくり話すことができました。みなさんなんだかこれからの展開が楽しそうです。
It’s been a hectic end to the year, but I managed to find some time to relax. I did a year-end party with Mr Masamichi Katayama of Wonderwall, who I think is currently something of a Japanese national treasure and Masaya of Kitsune, who before I know it is all grown up.
We’re all very busy with work, but fortunately for the first time in a while, we had the time to relax and catch up. Everybody’s up and coming projects sound great.
ちょうど年齢差もふくめて、3兄弟な感じがして、言いたいことを話せる感じがとても心地よい感じがします。来年1月にホワイトマウンテニアリングの相澤くんと同日にPITTIでショーを開催することになったKitsuneのマサヤですが、来年は日本での活躍もかなり期待できそうな感じです。いよいよ、、、、（まだ言えませんが）、、といった感じですが、思えば12年前にメールをもらってから、ずいぶんと大きく成長したなぁーとじんわり嬉しくなる長兄な感じです。また、何かやりますかね。。。。話は変りますが、大阪店は昨日で年内の営業終了とさせていただきました、福岡店は29日まで、千駄ケ谷店は本日までの営業となります。ご来店お待ちしています。@鈴木さとし
Even with the significant age gap there’s this great feeling that we’re like 3 brothers who can say what we want to each other. From January Masaya will be opening a show at PITTI on the same day as Mr Aizawa of White Mountaineering. It looks like we can expect great things for Masaya in Japan during the coming year. He was quick to play it all down, but when I think about how much he has grown in the 12 years since I first received an email from him, I feel happiness for him like an older brother. I’m thinking of doing a collaboration with him.
Changing the topic, yesterday was the last business day of the year at our Osaka store, Fukuoka will be open until the 29th and our Sendagaya store will finish up today. @ Satoshi Suzuki / WEG
